Fishing Lures that Work
I am not the sort of guy who wants to sit out there all day long, waiting for the fish to bite. My fishing is about searching out Sportfish. Catching large Kingfish & other Sportfish, really makes my day. I am happy to release most of what I catch back in the water to fight another day.
Not that I don't spend time successfully putting a snapper or two on the table. But there is no point in having a good boat and a good knowledge of where to find the fish, if I can't show them a Jig or Lure they want to take a bite at. That’s how Action Imports came to be. I could never find the exact type lure I wanted and being lucky enough to travel overseas to various sports equipment shows I kept my eyes open. Last year I found what I was looking for. So I did some hard talking and sourced a regular supply of lures tweaked for NZ & Pacific sportfish.
Action Imports specializes in bringing you exotic boutique style Vertical Jigs & Top Water Lures previously almost unobtainable in New Zealand. Shipments are small lots from a small manufacturers most are hand painted. No two are identical.
Currently our "Lure Makers" range is small but we have an expanded range being prepared for future shipments. Keep in mind that these lures are hand made and a particular type or style that may not be available on constant basis. If you have any suggestions as to how Action Imports can improve its lures please send us your suggestions we will every endeavor to incorporate your suggestions if at all possible.

My Mistress Seriola;-) For many years I have been running an inflatable of one sort or another. They have never let me down but it was time for a change. This summer I am running a brand new Surtees 4.7 from Family Boats North Shore and am very impressed with my Surtees center console.
